Privacy Policy

Offload (“we,” “us”) helps individual resellers create marketplace listings, research prices, and manage buyer messages and offers using AI. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can delete it. It applies to the Offload website, dashboard, and iOS/Android apps.

• Account information: email address, full name, location (city or zip, used only to generate a Google Maps link for local pickup meetups), and your AI negotiation personality preference.
• Item photos and listing content: photos you upload of items, along with the titles, descriptions, prices, and notes you write. Photos are sent to Google’s Gemini API to identify the item and suggest a listing — see “AI Processing” below.
• eBay account data: when you connect eBay, we store an OAuth access token and refresh token (encrypted at rest) that let Offload create and manage listings and send/receive buyer messages on your behalf. We do not receive or store your eBay password. We also sync eBay data needed to run the product: buyer messages, offers/counter-offers, buyer usernames, and listing status.
• Payment and subscription data: if you subscribe on the web, Stripe processes your payment and we store a Stripe customer ID and your subscription status — we never see or store your full card number. If you subscribe through the iOS or Android app, Apple or Google processes the payment and RevenueCat relays your subscription/entitlement status to us; we do not receive your payment card or Apple/Google account details, only purchase and renewal status.
• Usage and log data: we log calls we make to eBay’s API on your behalf (endpoint, timestamp, response code) so we can monitor rate limits and diagnose issues.

When you upload item photos, we send them to Google’s Gemini API to identify the item and to draft a listing title and description. We also send relevant listing details and recent buyer messages to Gemini to generate suggested negotiation replies. Photo and text data sent to Gemini is used to generate a response to that request; it is not used by Offload to train any model. Refer to Google’s API terms for how Google itself handles data sent to its API.

We share data only with the service providers needed to run Offload, each acting on our behalf:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
• eBay — to publish and manage your listings and messages, as you’ve authorized
• Google (Gemini API) — AI photo identification and text generation
• Stripe — web subscription billing
• RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play — in-app subscription billing on iOS/Android
• Resend — transactional emails (new message, new offer, item sold, welcome)
• Vercel — application hosting

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If eBay notifies us that you revoked Offload’s access or deleted your eBay account, we delete the eBay-derived data associated with you per eBay’s data deletion requirements. You can permanently delete your Offload account and all associated data at any time — see “Your Rights” below.

You can review and correct most of your account information directly in Settings. You can disconnect your eBay account at any time from Settings → Connected Platforms. You can permanently delete your account from Settings → Delete my account, which deletes your profile, listings, offers, messages, market research data, and API logs, and removes your uploaded photos from storage. This action cannot be undone. Deleting your Offload account does not disconnect or delete your eBay account, and does not cancel a subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play — cancel those directly with Apple or Google.

eBay access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. All data is protected by Postgres Row Level Security so that each user can only ever access their own data through the app, and all traffic to and from Offload is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Payment card data is never stored on our servers — it is handled entirely by Stripe, Apple, or Google.

Offload is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
